Stop At: Walk Melbourne Tours, Melbourne, Victoria Australia

You'll be greeted by your friendly guide at 10am at an easy to find meeting spot. You'll head straight into Melbourne's famous laneways to discover cafes that you probably wouldn't find by yourself - even locals are surprised by the locations that you visit!

Hear about about how coffee came to Melbourne and your guide give you a bit of context about what you're ordering. You'll start of with espresso drinks and move onto some other styles, such as filter coffee. You'll get a really good idea of how they compare against each other.

Your guide will chat about where the coffee comes from, examine some raw beans and answer all your questions.

By the end of the tour and you'll be ordering coffee like an expert from even the most complicated Melbourne coffee menu.

Along the way, you'll wander through Melbourne's laneways, checking out the street art and sampling coffee in at least 4 venues, and discovering many more. You'll get a lot of personal recommendations from your tour guide and leave with a list of places to eat and drink that's just for you. It's a real foodies delight.

This tool was great fun. The tour guide Monique really knew her stuff and had a great deal of knowledge about coffee and all coffee related information. She imparted her stories with enthusiasm and they are extremely interesting and enjoyable. We had a chance to stop at a number of coffee places and tried not only different types of coffee beans but also different styles of coffee. Monique explained the background of each of the styles and had related stories. He was a great way to spend a few hours and have a lot of fun and enjoy some wonderful coffee. I have no hesitancy in recommending this tour to anyone, especially if you love coffee.

We loved this tour! Being black coffee enthusiasts we wanted to learn more about how coffee is made and more about the history of coffee in our city and boy did we get that education and more! Monique is a walking coffee encyclopaedia and answered all our questions whilst regaling us with great stories about 'ye olde' Melbourne and the evolution of the Melbourne coffee culture. We highly recommend this tour!

This tour was great! I learned so much about coffee - for instance, single origin versus blended, how to store coffee beans, the optimum time to drink coffee after the beans are roasted. And, in addition, how to drink coffee so as to appreciate its flavours. Monique obviously enjoys coffee and is knowledgeable about both Melbourne and coffee history.
